the biggest threat to the future, is the past.. so we try to let it go, in hope of something greater. But memories creep and lurk like ghosts and other demons.. Memories are brought on by scenes from movies.. a point in a song that grips ur heart and turns ur stomach… a fantom smell flowing through the air vents as you enter the grocery store.
Scars from the past can rip back open, much faster then heal, in the first place. So you must accept the lesson learn and move on, or the future will just be the continuation of your past! I would prefer my future to be much more!

Remember this very well, Good to see this actually getting spread around on tumblr and Brian’s Memory is still being remembered.
On December 12, 1997, 19-year-old punk musician Brian Theodore Deneke (March 9, 1978 – December 12, 1997) was killed in a deliberate hit and run attack in Amarillo, Texas. He was intentionally run over by 17-year-old jock Dustin Camp.
Camp was later found guilty of voluntary vehicular manslaughter and sentenced to ten years probation. In 2001, he was sentenced to an eight-year imprisonment for a variety of parole violations. He was paroled under supervision on July 31, 2006.
The homicide and the outcome of the trial against Camp galvanized the punk community and raised accusations about the social tolerance of Amarillo, Texas.
